Good Morning
Sketching and a coffee to start the day. One of my favorite spots, just two blocks from home, Walton’s Fancy & Staple. The coffee is good; pastries are dangerously good (best in Austin? I usually go for the “golden egg”). Plus the combination of cafe and florist is pretty adorable.

Recipe: Peanut Butter Cookies
Somehow, Peanut Butter cookies encapsulate childhood and being an adult all at once. I meant to dip the bottoms of these in dark chocolate then make them into sandwiches with banana butter cream filling, but, more pressing matters got in the way. You should try it and send me the pictures so I can oogle them and be jealous. Instead, I ate an embarrassing number warm out of the oven with a cold mug...
